What is shatter? Shatter is a form of butane hash oil (BHO) cannabis extract created from the trichomes that are separated from cannabis flowers. It has a honey-gold hue and is named for its solid consistency: when dropped, it breaks apart or “shatters” like glass. To use shatter, it needs to be heated and then inhaled as smoke.
